Your Support Helps Bring Our Vision To Life
MERC has been working for our community for over three decades through collaboration with people who believe in the future of the Maasai community and share what they can.

Ways to Support
Monthly Donation
MERC’s monthly donors understand that the hardest thing to fund in the case of small grassroots organizations is also the most critical: that is the operating budget that puts gas in the tank and food on the table for community organizers, that keeps the lights on at the Dopoi Center after student and tourists groups go home, and the pay salaries of the Center staff who have made this work possible.
Long Term Projects
We also greatly appreciate collaborative giving toward several larger projects, which can include money, and also ideas and introductions to possible networks of support.
These projects include current land rights cases, paralegal training, Mara Guides Association initiatives, Dopoi Center expansions, and more. If you have connections that can support these long term projects, please reach out to Mary Poole at mpoole@prescott.edu.
Projects You Can Support

Maasai Scholarship Fund
This Scholarship Fund is directed by a committee of Maasai people working to foster future Maasai leaders by providing Maasai youth with access to education. The scholarship covers all essentials, including tuition, books, food, uniforms, transportation, and ongoing student support.
We Welcome General Contributions Too!
These allow our staff and community to utilize your support for the projects most crucial for the cultural survival for Olosho Le Maa.
